WFUV radio interviews relating to art

1969-1973

The WFUV radio interviews relating to art measure 0.8 linear feet and date from 1969 to 1973. The interviews on 17 sound tape reels are for two different radio programs on WFUV, "Today's World" and University Roundtable. Both programs feature interviews with artists, museum directors, and art historians. Interviews conducted by Vivienne Thaul Wechter, for WFUV's "Today's World" program featuring artists, museum directors, and art historians. Interviewees are: Richard Brown, Henry Tyler Hopkins, Chapman Kelley, Alvin Loving, Brenda Miller, Brian Nissen, Arlene Slavin, Stella Snead, John Watson and Harriet Zinnes, and Henry Botkin, Barbara Krashes, and Joe Solomon of the Federation of Modern Painters and Sculptors. Also found are programs from the 1969-70 season of University Roundtable include interviews of Will Barnet, Gregory Battock, Ilya Bolotowsky, Donald Halley, Jr. and Paul Piazza of the Hudson River Museum, Lyman Kipp, Michael Kirby, Roy Moyer, and participants in the Riverside Museum "Quinquevalence" exhibition.
